Special projects at Jackson City School

Posted

On Tuesday, May 25, Jackson City School unveiled two special projects— The first being the JCS Farms Blessing Box. Under the direction of Britni Back, the project was designed by the JCS Agriculture Program students. The manual labor of the project was completed by Jaylee, Brett, and Ellis Tincher. All involved with the project worked to create a meaningful resource to serve the community for years to come.
JCS also celebrated the opening of the JCS Little Library, sponsored by the Family Resource Youth Service Center (FRYSC). This project was designed to encourage a love of reading throughout the community.
When asked about the goals for the projects, Britni Back responded,
“I am humbled that through God’s grace, our JCS Ag program continues to grow not only crops and skills, but also hearts that are able to serve and bless others in our community.”Pictured (l-r) Appalachia Howard, Britni Back, Southern Howard and Jaylee Tincher
