The Kentucky Mountain Bible College announced this week that it is celebrating a historic milestone.
The private, Christian college celebrated the highest enrollment in its 95-year history.
The college has enrolled 135 students and counting for the 2025-2026 school year, setting a new record.
This comes just one year after KMBC also broke its enrollment record in 2024–2025, marking back-to-back years of growth.
Combined growth in campus enrollment, online education, and the newly added graduate studies has helped KMBC surpass records set in the early 1960s.
President Dr. Robert D. Pocai credits “God’s faithfulness and blessing” as the foundation of growth.
He also cites expanded program options that allow students to choose from graduate degrees, four-year and two-year programs, one-year certificates, and high school dual enrollment.
With every program available both on-campus and online, KMBC is opening the door for many who may not have thought college - or Bible college - was possible for them.
Kentucky Mountain Bible College trains pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders. More than 70 percent of graduates go on to serve in ministry, and alumni have served both locally and in over 60 countries worldwide.
According to school officials, students also choose KMBC to study the Bible and deepen their faith and walk with God.
For students at every stage of life, KMBC offers a path to grow, learn, and step into what God may be calling them to do next.
