Johnson Injured in Motorcycle Crash

Ambulance crews were called to the report of a motorcycle-truck accident on Sunday, May 17, on John Henry Road at Clayhole.

According to reports, a woman, who was not identified, was driving a 2018 red Dodge Ram on John Henry Road when a “green dirt bike” rounded a curve and struck her vehicle.

The motorcycle driver, reported as Bobby Johnson, 18, was thrown from the bike and received several injuries, including lacerations.

The Jackson Fire Department and Breathitt-Wolfe Ambulance Service were called to the crash and quickly determined that the motorbike drivers would require trauma treatment for the injuries.

Air Evac transported Johnson to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington by air.ollie

Another motorcycle accident was reported last week at Copeland after a young female collided with a truck on Highway 110.  She was also taken to Lexington for treatment and remains hospitalized with injuries to her head and legs.
