Grand Jury Meets, Indicts Three

The Breathitt County Grand Jury returned three true bills on Tuesday, May 5, and issued indictments against three accused offenders.

Renee M. Coleman, 36, of Highway 15 South, was indicted on one count of Complicity to Sexual Abuse, First Degree (Victim Under the age of 12) when she “was complicit in subjecting” a child to sexual abuse based on the testimony of Trooper Bradley Couch.  The offense allegedly occurred between March 1 and March 27, 2025.

An indictment arrest warrant was issued for Coleman, and her bail was set at $50,000 cash.

Patrick W. Combs, 37, of Vicco, was indicted on one count of Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,000 but under $10,000 and one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree (First Offense) after he was allegedly found in possession of under two grams of methamphetamine after Sheriff John Hollan located Combs asleep in his car at Go Time at Lost Creek on Christmas Eve in 2025.

According to the indictment, Combs “was in possession of a gray Pontiac Grand Am” that belonged to Lonnie Adams.

An indictment arrest warrant was issued for Combs, and his bail was set at $10,000 cash.

Lacy Miller, 50, of Highway 1098, was indicted on one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Mischief in the First Degree after he allegedly “knowingly and unlawfully entered the residence of Charles Naper, Sr. with the intent to commit a crime.”  The indictment also alleges that Miller intentionally caused more than $1,000 damage to the home during the break-in.

An indictment arrest warrant was issued for Miller, and her bail was set at $10,000 cash.
