Tim "Tiny" Roberts, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, peacefully left this world on October 23, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, just shy of his 67th birthday. He was surrounded by the love of his family who will surely miss his infectious laughter and larger-than-life personality.
Born on October 28, 1958 in Jackson, KY, Tim was a graduate of Breathitt High School. He was a truckdriver who enjoyed spending time outdoors and time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Johnson Roberts; his son, TC Roberts; his grandson, Braxton Miller; his brother, David Roberts and his sister, Ruth Stacy.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rena Wise Roberts; his sons, Joe Roberts (Brittany) and Shane Hale; his daughters, Amanda Johnson (Bobby Sturgill), Melissa Roberts (Weasel Adams) and Karen Gambrel (Jeffrey); his brothers, Joe Ray Roberts, Danny Roberts (Carol) and Green Roberts; his sister, Becky Roberts; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation for Tim will begin Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Breathitt Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at Sunday, October 25, 2025 at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Joel Gross officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery at Riley Branch at Clayhole with Joe Ray Roberts, Danny Roberts, Green Roberts, Isaiah Campbell, Weasel Adams and Bobby Sturgill serving as pallbearers.
