Brenda Lucas Boggs, 77 of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 01, 2026 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky.
Brenda was born January 13, 1949 to the late James Carl and Carrie Watts Combs.
Brenda is survived by one son, JC Lucas of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; one daughter, Vivian Jean Lucas of Jackson, Kentucky; one grandchild, Jensen Trevor Dale Burton; four sisters, Linda Jo (Elmer) Bowling, Donna (Charles "Peanut") Little, Irene (Don) Taulbee, and Mildred Hulse; two brothers, Eugene (Brenda) Combs and Elmo (Sherri) Combs; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, James Carl and Carrie Watts Combs; first husband, Wilford Lucas; and second husband. Randy Boggs.
Services for Brenda will be held Thursday, August 06, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Bowling officiating. Burial will follow at the Combs Cemetery in Jackson, Kentucky with Eddie Little, J.K. Little, Travis Combs, Mike Bowling, Steve Bowling, and Justin Combs serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 06, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
