Carl Jay Stevens

Carl Jay Stevens, age 69, of Whick,  KY passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  He was born August 6, 1955, in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Asberry and Pearlie Holbrook Stevens.  He was a US Army Veteran and was a heavy equipment truck driver.    Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Stevens.  Stepdaughter: Raven Raleigh.  He is survived by wife: Phyllis Bush of Whick, KY.  Stepson: Gary (Tiffany) Raleigh of Whick, KY.  Grandsons:  Avery Bryce Raleigh and Maverick James Raleigh.  Mother-in-law: Bessie Burnett of Canoe, KY.  One brother: Earl (Imogene) Stevens of Rousseau, KY.  Five sisters: Sue (Wick) Chapman of Jackson, KY.  Joyce Quinn, Francis Squires, Charlene Stevens and Shirley Yeater, all of OH.  Sister-in-law: Charlotte Stevens of FL.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl McIntosh officiating.  Burial in the Stevens Cemetery at, Highway 30 East, Rousseau, KY.  Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 pm -9:00 pm.    Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
