Lloyd Bowling

Lloyd Bowling, age 78, of Altro, KY passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Hazard ARH due to a short illness.  He was born March 6, 1949, at Saldee, KY and was the son of the late France and Callie Deaton Bowling.  He was preceded also in death by his grandson: Terrance James Bowling.  Stepfather: Charles Napier.   Stepdaughter: Joyce Ann Turner.  Brothers:  Ray Bowling and Rev. Ollie James Bowling.  Sister: Hazel Arrowood and husband Fred.  He is survived by his wife: Mary White Bowling of Altro, KY.  His son: Elmer Hubert (Becky) Bowling of Letcher County, KY.  Three daughters:  Annette (Ricky) Molands of Canoe, KY.  Bonnie Shepherd of Campton, KY and Stephanie Lynn Spencer of Lexington, KY.   Brother: Elmer (Linda Jo) Bowling of Jackson, KY.  Sisters in law:  Gayle Bowling and Lucinda Bowling.  15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Stephen Bowling and Jesse Wagers officiating.  Burial in the Reed Bowling Memorial Garden Cemetery, Saldee, KY.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 5:00-9:00 pm with additional singing at 7:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
