Rousseau Fire Department Chief Greg Wilson was honored on Friday, January 23, as a Save A Lot 2025 Hometown Hero for his efforts in the community.
Wilson received a $500 gift card as part of the national program celebrating community volunteers and locals who work for the good of their neighbors.
Save A Lot launched the Hometown Heroes program in 2023 to recognize individuals making a positive impact in the communities its stores serve. Winners are selected throughout the year and receive a $500 Save A Lot gift card along with a spotlight in the company’s newsroom.
The program highlights everyday people whose service, passion, and commitment help strengthen their hometowns.
Wilson was nominated in early December and received the most votes of the twelve nominees.
