The Middle School Academic team at Jackson City School is celebrating the advancement of three students to state-level competition following regional competition on Saturday, February 14.
Adelynn Bowling claimed second place in Language Arts, General Knowledge, and Written Composition during the event. She also finished fifth in Science Assessment.
Mason Gross scored well enough to claim the sixth-place spot in Language Arts.
Cailet Adams received first place in Written Composition, fourth place in Language Arts, and fifth place in General Knowledge.
Mason, Cailet, and Adelynn will advance to the Governor’s Cup State Competition at the Galt House in Louisville on March 20-23.
The Middle School Team placed 4th in the Overall Region Competition.
