 Paul Edward Sebastian, 70, of Jackson passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, surrounded by his beloved family.

Paul was born to the late Henry and Mary Turner Sebastian and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Schadler and Mary Beth Sebastian.

He was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Covington for many years. Paul worked as a civil engineer and went on to serve as the vice president and regional manager for Natural Resource Partners, LP. He was a passionate University of Kentucky basketball fan, having graduated from UK.  Paul also enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family, particularly his beloved granddaughter, Halle GraceAnn Hogg, his nephews, nieces, and his cherished DQ breakfast crew.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Margaret Leann (Shane) King, whom he lovingly called "Little One"; his granddaughter, Halle GraceAnn Hogg; his sisters, Dianne Sebastian and Phyllis Patton; and the mother of his daughter, Debbie Stivers.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025 with Bobby Hollon and Buddy Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Dam Cemetery on Butterpoint Road at Canoe.

Pallbearers will include Joshua Back, Jimmy Stivers, Ben Schadler, Michael Patton, Zach Schadler, and Kenny Joe Neace. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Turner, Frank A. Fletcher, George Napier, Greg Moore, Bobby Deaton, Roger Gibbs, Allan Robinson, the Breakfast Crew at Dairy Queen, the Staff at Kountry Kitchen, and his coworkers at NRP.

Paul will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and devotion, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
