Nathan Elvin Chaney, age 23, of Manchester, KY passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born December 10, 2002, in Manchester, KY and was preceded in death by his mother: Tonda Riley. Paternal grandparents: Thomas Chaney and Loreane Combs Chaney Asher & Larry Asher. Maternal grandparents: Carroll Mullins and Louise Terry Mulllins. Uncle: Carlos Mullins.
He is survived by his father: Rodney Phillip Chaney of Manchester, KY. His half-brother: Anthony Riley. Half-sister: Ashley Riley. Special cousin: Ashley Bryant & son Mason Asher. Special cousin: Lucas Asher. Paternal uncle: Thomas (Tracy) Chaney and maternal uncle: Orlando Mullins. Paternal aunt: Phyllis Chaney. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Chapel with Bess Gross Jr and Carl McIntosh officiating. Burial in the Watkins and Combs Cemetery, Hwy 30 East, Noctor, KY. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home on Tuesday. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
