Mary Helen McCullough, 91, Greensburg, IN passed away after a brief illness at Jewish Heart & Lung Center in Louisville, KY. Mary Helen was born in Breathitt County on October 30, 1932 to Clara Stamper Helton. She still owns the family farm on Freeman Fork Road in Breathitt County. Mary Helen is survived by one daughter, Iva Stamper Gasaway; stepdaughter, Susan (Marc) Meyerrose; stepson, Royce Dale McCullough. Other survivors include her baby sister, Barbara Helton (Shannon Dale) Salyers; sisters-in-law, Marie Turner Helton and Lyvonne McIntosh Helton. She is survived by several grandchildren, Sherrye Gasaway Marshall (Mike Chatham), Brandi Gasaway Feltner (Jim), Ashlee Stamper (Matt Price), Chelsea Stamper, Megan Miller (Chris Walker), Dustin Howard, Jennifer Chastain (Derick) Westport, Nick Meyerrose, Bryan McCullough. 
She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Royce McCullough; sons, Larry Stamper and Steven Campbell; brothers, Don Deaton, Wilkie Helton, James “Jim” Helton, Bill Helton, Charles Helton, Randall Helton, George Helton, Glenn Jelton, Franklin Helton; sisters, Wanda Helton Hoagland, Anna Helton.

Mary was a member of the Eastern Star and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Funeral Services were conducted Monday December 18 @ 12 noon at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin, Indiana with Mayor Terry Amick officiating.
Burial was in the Spurgeon Cemetery, Austin, Indiana.
