Joshua Dale Chandler of Jackson, born April 23, 1976, in Brown County, Ohio to Benny Chandler and Delores Mays Chandler, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 9, 2026, in Jackson, Kentucky.
Joshua was a caregiver who enjoyed playing video games, working on computers, listening to music, shooting guns, playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his caring nature and the friendships he shared with so many.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dale and Etta Mays; paternal grandparents, Benjamin “Ham” Chandler and Wanda Cox Bach; and his uncle, Larry Cox.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Delores Mays Chandler; his father, Benny Chandler (Sharon Mullins); uncle, David Chandler (Shirley); aunts, Sue Talley (Sam) and Patricia Lawson; cousins, Jason Chandler, Michael Chandler, Devon Lawson, and Tyler Lawson; special friends, Rodney Griffith and Gary Blanton; along with a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
In honoring Joshua’s wishes, there will be no public funeral services held.
