Ernie Creech, age 78, of Beattyville, Kentucky departed this earthly life on June 9, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Ernie was born on February 10, 1948 to the late Shelby and Polly Ross Creech.
He is survived by Brother; Ola Creech and Glenn Creech, both of Beattyville, Kentucky, Sisters; June Deaton and Virginia Creech, Nieces; Amanda Creech, Krista Creech, Betty Creech, and Sue Moore, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Shelby and Polly Ross Creech, Brothers; Allen Dale Creech, Lloyd Creech, and Kenneth Creech, Sister; Ailene Creech.
Funeral Services for Ernie Creech will be held at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky on Saturday June 13, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. with Pete Combs officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in the Abner-Creech Cemetery in Beattyville, Kentucky with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
