Dully was born August 14, 1964 at the Homeplace Clinic at Ary, Kentucky to Morgan and Gracie Neace Fugate as the 15th of 16 children. She spent her childhood years living in the head of Hardshell-Caney in Breathitt County where she spent her days scouring the hills, riding her horse, gardening and living the homestead life. Dully resided in Georgetown, Kentucky for 25 years where she had a thriving career as an adored in-home private caregiver to both the young and the elderly. Although you can take the girl out of Breathitt County, you can't take Breathitt County out of the girl and she returned home to her roots in 2021 to be near her family.
Dully was not only the caretaker of her immediate family but she strived to care for her entire family as well as her friends. She is known for her kindness, generosity, playful nature and stubborn will. She was always ready to lend a hand, care for the sick and give stern advice when she felt one of her own required correcting.
Dully enjoyed spending her free time playing BINGO and going to the casino where she made countless friends and impacted many lives. She loved sitting on the balcony watching the waves roll in from the ocean, admiring the architecture of different buildings, exploring new destinations and attending concerts where she could dance.
Dully was preceded in death by her mother, Gracie Fugate; her father, Morgan Fugate; two brothers, Jerry Fugate and Martin Fugate; seven sisters, Ella Mae Fowler, Julie Fugate, Sally Troutman, Mary Fugate, Kathleen McLemore, Zola Sizemore and Lola Smith.
