Robert Taulbee

Robert Taulbee, 83, Vancleve passed away Wednesday, December 6, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. He was the widow of the late Mary Lou Brown Taulbee and the son of the late Press and Laura Haynes Taulbee. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Robert Ray Taulbee; brothers, Virgil Taulbee, Berlin Taulbee, James Taulbee; sister, Bea Lovely. Robert was retired from the state highway department where he was employed as an equipment operator. He was a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church at Vancleve. He is survived by son, Tommy (Joyce) Taulbee; daughter, Linda Taulbee; sisters, Judy Johnson, Jessie Taulbee, Barbara Bartley; grandson, Tommy Curtis Taulbee; great grandsons, Waylon Jagger Thomas Taulbee, Rocco Kingston Lee Taulbee; host of nephews and nieces; five brothers-in-law. Visitation Friday, December 8, 3:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Saturday, December 9, 1:00 PM at the Hampton United Methodist Church at Vancleve with John Bunn and Tommy Taulbee officiating. Burial in the Taulbee Cemetery at Vancleve. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Curtis Taulbee, Charles Parks, Evan Parks, Brian Combs, Chris Hollon, Larry Centers, Tim Keeton, Joe Mike Allen, Robert Lloyd Gross, Andy Mitchell, David Young and as honorary pallbearers will be Hubert Hollon, Daniel Haddix, AB Combs, Waylon Taulbee, Rocco Taulbee, Brysten Deaton, Tyler Deaton.
