Stevie Watkins

Stevie Watkins, 34 of Jackson departed this earthly life Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky.

A gifted musician and a true lover of music, Stevie carried a song in his heart until the very end. His creativity extended beyond music—he found joy in reading, writing, and drawing. He also cherished time spent outdoors, especially gardening and being immersed in nature. A man of quiet reflection, Stevie found comfort and inspiration in reading the Bible.

Stevie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Ruby Sizemore and by his special first cousin, James Ray Sizemore.

He is survived by his loving parents, Steve and Angela Sizemore Watkins; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lou Watkins; sister, Maura Turner and her husband Mike; and nephew, Grady Michael Turner. He also leaves behind special friends, Nora Jones and Braylee Sizemore.
