Rosalie Nixon Cole

Rosalie Nixon Cole, 86, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.

She was born on April 23, 1938, in Greenup County to the late Byrne and Margaruite Storey Nixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Cole; sons, John Mitchell McCausland and David Dwayne Cole; granddaughter, Sabrina Alexandra McCausland; brother, Jim Nixon; and sister, Roxanna Nixon.

Rosalie was a devoted homemaker who found joy in reading, listening to music, and cooking. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. No matter how old her children were, she always kept track of them with love and care.

She leaves to mourn her passing sons, Jesse Cole Jr., Jerry Paul Cole; daughter, Janice Rosalie (Charles) Adams; grandchildren, Maranda, Tasa, Amelia, Anthony, Olivia, Jesse Tyler, Abigail, Brooklyn.

Visitation for Rosalie will begin Thursday, March 20, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM with Calvin Eash and Chris Turner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jesse Cole Cemetery at Bowlings Creek.
