Bobby Dean Turner

Bobby Dean Turner departed this earthly life Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Jackson, Kentucky.

He was born January 2,1991 in Hyden, Kentucky and was 34 years of age at the time of his passing.

Bobby worked as a general laborer and found joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, ginsenging, and riding four-wheelers. Above all, his greatest happiness came from being a father to his beloved daughter, Alisa Joelene Turner.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Sue Crank; his father, Alvin Dean Turner (Jennifer); his daughter, Alisa Joelene Turner; his brothers, Andrew Crank; his sisters, Alvina Rose Turner and Georgia Ann Turner; his stepbrothers, Eric James Rice and Marcus Allen Griffith; and his stepsisters, Jade Ashley Rice and Danielle Marie Griffith.

Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Crank and Wavelene Thomas Turner and his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Georgia Turner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 28, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Silas Hall, Paul Hall, and Chris Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Alice B. Turner Cemetery at Talbert with Dennis Combs, Andrew Crank, Nicholas Crank, Marcus Griffith, Matthew Turner, Jonathan Turner, Raymond Vincent Turner, and Thomas Herald serving as pallbearers

Bobby’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
