Norma Jean Herald

Norma Jean Herald, 89 of Hazard entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William G. Herald who passed away in 2017; her parents, CT and Della Brock Thompson; her brother, Sterling Thompson and her sister, Thelma Gross.

She was of the Baptist faith.  Norma was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and her family.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Herald and Darrin Herald; her daughters, Billie (Rick) Daugherty and Pam Herald; her grandchildren, Shane Hayes, Alana Daugherty, Sacha Daugherty; her great grandchildren, Rickelle, Jesse, Nick, Jacey, Rogan, Ryatt, Kayci; her great great grandchildren; Ava, Jake, Madeline, Kallen.

There will be a private graveside service.
