Delores Louise Strong

Delores Louise Strong, age 60, of Whick, KY passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Hazard ARH.  She was born March 28, 1964 in Hazard, KY and was the daughter of the late Estill and Nancy Gross Butler.  She was a member of the Have Faith in God Tabernacle.  Also preceded in death by her sisters: Diana Butler and Kathy Clay and husband Price.  Her father-in-law:  Joseph “Sonny” Strong.  She is survived by her husband: Joey Strong of Whick, KY.  Two daughters:  Maranda (Josh) Collins of Whick, KY and Samantha (Brian) Hamblin of Georgetown, KY.  Three brothers:  Ader (Pam) Butler of Athol, KY, Donnie (Carol) Butler of Curt, KY and Estill (Judy) Butler, Jr of Whick, KY.  Three grandchildren:  Hannah Collins, Laiken Collins and Aubri Miller.   A nephew (son) Robert Butler and Niece (Daughter) Susan Miller.  Mother-in-law:  Duredith Strong.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy and Robert Butler officiating.  Burial in the Strong Cemetery, Whick, KY.  Visitation will begin on Saturday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
