Nellia Mae Fugate

Nellia Mae Fugate, 81 of Clayhole passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

Nellia was the widow of the late Burlie Fugate and the daughter of the late Reed and Verona Campbell Harvey.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Marcus Reed Spencer.

She was a retired dietician with the Countryside Place Nursing Home in Knox, Indiana.  During her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, working in her flowers and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Marcus Reed Harvey; her brother, Wayne Harvey; her sisters, Margaret Louise Fugate, Wanda Lea Adams, Billie Jean Miller, Marcella Lynne Harvey, Katherine Harvey and Rita Ann Napier.

Visitation for Nellia will be held Friday, November 8, starting at 12:00 PM with the funeral service to begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home with Scotty McKnight officiating.  

Burial will follow in the McIntosh Cemetery at Clayhole with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
