Wardie Fugate

Wardie Fugate, 76 of Jackson, passed away peacefully Monday, November 4, 2024 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky.  

Wardie was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Fugate; his parents, Jerry and Edna Parks Fugate; brothers, Roy Fugate, Irvine Fugate, Frank Fugate, Elwood Fugate, James Fugate, Walter Fugate; sister, Dora McIntosh, Janet Fugate.

Wardie enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to western audio books and he was an avid Breathitt and UK sports fan.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Betty Fugate; his daughters, Dolly Noble, Jaime Baker; his brothers, Donald Fugate, Vernon Fugate, Willie (Lethy) Fugate; his sisters, Cassie Banks, Easter Mercer; his grandchildren, Michael (Desiree) Noble, Mikayla Noble, Chelsea Baker, Emily (Michael) Watkins; his great grandchildren, Winston Noble, Lyda Noble, Eli Watkins.

Visitation for Wardie will be Friday, November 8, 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home with funeral service being held Saturday, November 9, 1:00 PM with Harry Kemper officiating.  

Burial will follow in the Steve McIntosh Cemetery at Panbowl with Michael Noble, Billy Dieringer, Mikey Watkins, Jacob Marshall, Estill McIntosh, John Hall serving as pallbearers.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Donald Fugate and Roger Noble.
