Pearl Faye Begley

Pearl Faye Begley, 73 of Athol, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 2, 2024 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Rant and Amanda Smith Dotson.  She was also preceded in death by a host of siblings.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, gardening and cooking.

She was a 28 year member of the Athol Community Church.

Pearl leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 52 years, Ronald "Ronnie" Begley; her sons, Ronnie (Linda) Begley, Eric (Lucinda) Begley, Rocky Hatfield, Ray Hatfield; her daughters, Kathy Dotson (Randy Spencer), Deloris (Eddie) Fugate, Charlene (Gerall - deceased) Prater; her stepdaughter, Ronda Purdon; her grandchildren, Timothy, Randi Nicole, Christina, Shanell, Gerrica, Jared, Jameka, A.J., Robbie, Erica, Kelsey, Jayden, Jason, Starbella, Aubrie, Amber, Lillie, Bryson, Carson Lane; her great grandchildren, Emily Kadence, Cameron, Kayden, Tyson, Kyndle, Elizabeth, Grayson, Paisley, Greyson, Mason, Gabby, Akira, Aailyah, Mason, Dillion, Willow; host of siblings; special friends, Nelda Jett, Nancy (Fred) Stewart.

Visitation for Pearl will be Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home and her funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 6, at 1:00 PM with Calvin Ray Spicer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Begley Cemetery at Athol with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
