Farlene Ann Prater

Farlene Ann Prater, 52 of Quicksand Creek Rd. Jackson, departed this earthly life Saturday, September 21, 2024 at home.

She was born July 4, 1972 in Laporte, Indiana, the daughter of Farley Mullins and the late Hazel Stacy Mullins.

Farlene was a homemaker, and she enjoyed reading, and working in her flowers.

She is survived by her father, Farley Mullins; her husband of 26 years, Lawrence Prater; two daughters, Emily Rose Byrd and Elizabeth Mullins; one sister, Becky Koeing; six uncles Tim Mullins, Wendell Mullins, Wayne Mullins, Shelby Stacy, Thurman Stacy and Earl. C. Stacy; six aunts, Gladys Howard, Rose Mullins, Lesa Vallo, Roberta Bolton, Carmie Prater and Brenda Klein.

She is also survived by two grandsons, Jason Byrd and Parker Mullins; two granddaughters, Brooklynn Mullins and Eve Mullins; along with a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

Visitation for Farlene will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00PM at the Breathitt Funeral Home and her funeral will be held Monday, September 23, at 10:00 AM with Sherman Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in the Charlie Lovins Cemetery at Guage, KY with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
