Avious Inez Lyon Griffith

Avious Inez Lyon Griffith, 95, of Flat Gap Kentucky, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2024 following a brief illness.

Mrs Griffith was born on Monday December 3, 1928 in Flat Gap, Ky, the daughter of the late Lewis C. and the late Sarah McBrayer Lyon. She was a retired school teacher.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Griffith and three daughters: Sarah Griffith, Joannia Griffith and Virginia Puckett; a sister, Be-atrice Singree; and a grandson Rockie Dean Williams.

Survivors include a son, David Griffith and Fiance' Tammy; a daughter, Susan Kestner and husband Sam; a son, John Griffith; a daughter, Linda Preece and husband Bradford and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, Jul 24th at 1:00 PM at the Skaggs Ceme-tery in Martha,Ky with Rev. Delbert Music officiating.
