Herman Campbell
Herman Campbell, widower of Wilma Jean Noble Campbell and son of the late Willie and Pollie Ann Hamilton Campbell, of Athol passed away Sunday at the UK Hospice Care Center in Lexington. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Jewell Campbell Wigdal, Edna Landrum Stevens; brothers, Tivis Campbell, Speed Campbell, Carter Campbell, David Campbell, Omer Landrum; father and mother-in-law, Kelly Sr. and Ruth Jett Noble. He is survived by sister, Goldie Campbell Jones; sisters-in-law, Leath Noble (Darrell) Hogan, Martha Noble, Irene Noble, Mabel Noble (Maurice) Turner; nephews and nieces, Tammie (Darrell) Sivalls, Timothy Jones, Allie Jones, Glenna (Wendell) Bryant, Jessica Dawn Campbell, Alan Wigdahl, Jeff Wigdahl, Eric Wigdahl, Kimberly Wigdhal Plunk, Tim Stevens, Greg Stevens; a host of great nephews and nieces and great great nephews and nieces. Gifted with a natural artistic talent, Herman was a skilled carpenter and builder who made beautiful art with his woodwork. His talent also extended to drawing and painting. He loved his wife, Jean and they were married for 47 years. Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 5:00 PM and the funeral will be Saturday, September 23, 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Eldon Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Kelly Noble Family Cemetery at Athol.
