William Edward "Willie" Roberts

William Edward "Willie" Roberts, 70, passed away Saturday, February 24, in Jackson. He was a member of the Little Buckhorn Mennonite Church. Willie was a retired engineer with the Kentucky State Highway Office. He enjoyed UK basketball, attending church, spending time at the Breathitt County Senior Citizens Center and traveling. He was the son of the late Alfred and Mollie Marie Smith Roberts. He was also preceded in death by brother, Oran Roberts; sisters, Cora Belle Roberts and Margaret Honeycut; stepson, Everett Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Deaton Roberts; host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, February 29, 10:00 AM with the funeral services being Thursday, 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Eldon Miller and Roger Voth officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery at Little Buckhorn.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Little Buckhorn Mennonite Church or Bethel Camp.
