Doug Allen

Doug Allen, 81, Noctor, passed away Friday, January 19, at the Kentucky River Medical Center. Doug attended the Providence Pentecostal Church. He was a member of the Breathitt Masonic Lodge 649 F&AM. He was a retired CSX Railroad conductor. Doug enjoyed sports, gardening, farming and was a loyal fan of Breathitt basketball. He was the son of the late Ervine Allen Sr. and Alice Turner Allen. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Curtis Allen, Lena Faye Allen, Jesse Allen, Lindberg Allen, Lillie Belle Allen. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joann McIntosh Allen; sons, Jeff Douglas Allen, Scott Ethan (Elesha) Allen; special niece, Kym Little Bailey; brothers, Ervine Allen Jr., Ron Allen; sisters, Joyce Campbell, Miriam Little; grandchildren, Ryan Douglas (Whitney) Allen, Amanda Volpe, Gavan Allen, Harper Allen, Lindy Allen. Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 4:00 PM with funeral services being held Monday, January 22, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Gary Bellamy and Harry Kemper officiating.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Haddix Cemetery.
