Small Blaze at Little Caesars
July 28, 2025

stopped a small fire at Little Caesars.
Crews left the scene at 8:26 p.m. after ensuring that the fire was contained and out. The Jackson Fire Department was called to the report of a small fire in the back of the Little Caesar’s Pizza at 137 Highway 15 South on Thursday.
According to reports, a worker at the store noticed some smoke and a small flame between the two air units along the back wall of the store on July 13. The store manager called 911 at 7:53 p.m.
Within minutes, representatives from the Jackson Police Department, the Kentucky State Police, and the Jackson Fire Department were on scene. The store was evacuated and fire crews searched for the source of the blaze.
Using a heat sensing camera, firefighters located a “burned out motor” on one of the two units and turned off the electricity to the unit.
Reports indicate that the fire was contained within the air unit and did not spread to the surrounding walls or any of the back areas of the store.
A healthy Breathitt County requires great community news.
