James Milton Stewart Jr., age 57, of Paris, KY, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris, KY.
He was born on August 28, 1967, in Ohio to the late James Milton Stewart Sr. and Frances Ilene Sizemore Stewart.
Known affectionately by his family and friends as “Jamie,” he was a retired bus driver for the Breathitt County Board of Education. Jamie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, boating, watching television, and spending time with his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Tammy McKee Stewart; sons: Cody Stewart, Timothy Stewart, Franklin Stewart, Jessie Stewart, Keith Chapman (Payton), and Barney Smith; daughters: Chasity Stewart and Alicia Stewart; brothers: Tony Stewart (Michelle), Tracey Stewart (Jackie), and Dustin Stewart; sisters: Crystal White (Shawn), Dawn Baker (Harold), Mary R. Stewart; 19 grandchildren; special nephews: Dominic Roberts, Tyler Roberts (Lexie), Dylan Roberts; and special granddaughters, Aria Combs, Bella Vanorden, Gracie Stewart, Special aunt Mary L. Quigley (second Mom), and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Milton Stewart Sr. & Frances Ilene Sizemore Stewart, his son, Jimmy Stewart; and grandson, A.J. Eubanks.
Visitation for Jamie will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM, officiated by John Tincher and Darrell Parks.
Jamie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
