Jesse Gene Hurt

Jesse Gene Hurt, 54,  of Lost Creek, Kentucky departed this earthly life on Saturday July 19, 2025 at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky.

Gene was born in February 24, 1971 to the late Virgil Hurt Sr., and the late Newmeda Grigsby Hurt. 

Gene is survived by his Wife; Beth Neace Hurt, One Son; Jesse Scott (Tessa) Hurt, Four Brothers; Danny (Virginia) Hurt, Virgil Jr. (Angie) Hurt, Steven (Sandra) Hurt, Shannon (Lina) Hurt, Three Grandchildren; Brayden Scott Hurt, Chase Bubba Hurt, Kenzie Hurt, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his Parents; Virgil Hurt Sr. And Newmeda Grigsby Hurt, Father-In-Law; Press Neace, Four Grandchildren, One Nephew; Matthew Hurt, one Niece; Chloe Hurt.

Funeral Services for Jesse Gene Hurt will be held on Saturday July 26, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Right Fork Church of Christ in Viper, Kentucky with Virgil Hurt officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Henson Cemetery at Watts, Kentucky with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.  Visitation will be held on Friday July 25, 2025 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at The Right Fork Church of Christ, 898 Ky 3349 Viper, Ky., 41774.
