Pelfrey Named KRMC Employee of the Month

The Kentucky River Medical Center announced on July 9 that Shelia Pelfrey, RN, had been chosen as the Employee of the Month for July.  

Pelfrey is employed as a nurse and works in the Operating Room.  According to the news release, Pelfrey was nominated and selected based on her “professionalism, compassionate care for patients, and being helpful to coworkers.”

A hospital spokesman said the patients and staff “appreciate your dedication and hard work, Shelia.”

Pelfrey has worked at KRMC for twenty-two years.

Shelia received a day off with pay, the right to park in a special Employee of the Month parking space, a $50 gift card, and a certificate of recognition
