Rachel Turner

Rachel Turner, age 97, of Talbert, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 16, 2024. She became a Christian at the age of 16 and was a faithful servant throughout her lifetime.

Rachel was born on April 6, 1927 to the late Sigel S. and Martha Ellen Herald.

Rachel is survived by One Daughter; Martha Ellen Wilson of Talbert, Kentucky, Two Sons; Sigel S. Turner of Talbert, Kentucky, Reuben Jr. (Gloria) Turner of Talbert, Kentucky, Three Grandchildren; Brian Lee (Jenni) Suerdick of Ohio, Jessica Lea (Ryan) Robertson of Ohio, Jordan Reuben Richard Turner of Talbert, Kentucky, Five Great Granddaughters; Baevinn Suerdick, Brelynn Suerdick, Rachel Robertson, Hallee Robertson, Everly Robertson, One Sister-In-Law; Ellen Turner, One Cousin; Mahala Cole, and Special Friends; Ruth Ann Turner and Arminda Herald.

Rachel was preceded in death by Her Husband; Reuben Turner Sr., Her Parents; Rev. Sigel S. Herald and Martha Ellen Herald, Two Daughters; Wanda Faye Suerdick, Linda Lou Lemaster, Two Sons-In-Law; Kenneth Wilson, Randy Lemaster, Two Brothers; Wilburn and wife Odessa Herald, Tommy Herald, One Niece; Imogene Herald.

Funeral Services for Rachel B. Turner will be held at The Watts Funeral Home in Jackson, Kentucky on Saturday April 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Albert Little, Pat Turner, Jesse Turner, and Paul Hall officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Buck - Herald Cemetery at Talbert, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Friday April 19, 2024 at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
